BankMobile Account (BMTX)

The colleges of the Yosemite Community College District (Columbia College and MJC) have partnered with BankMobile, a financial services company focused solely on higher education, to bring all YCCD students a new method for receiving financial aid funds.

For new students visit: Refund Selection to begin verify the information your school has on file for you. Once confirmed, you can choose how you'd like to receive your money. 

Below is an example of what to enter under "verify your information" - 

School name: Yosemite Community College District

Student ID numbers: w1234567 (must include lower case w)

School email address: johndoe1234567@my.yosemite.edu 

Reminders:

  • The set up process takes about 7-10 minutes to complete.
  • Be prepared to complete the entire process at one sitting.
  • Have your preference information ready, such as bank name, account number and routing number if doing deposit to your own bank or have your address ready if receiving a check by mail.
  • DO NOT start and stop the set up process as it can lock your account.
  • If this happens, or you are receiving an error message, you must contact BankMobile Customer Support directly at 1-877-327-9515

To access your BankMobile account after creation, please visit BMTX account. This is where you can change your refund preference, update contact information etc. 

If you have had an account previously and cannot access your BankMobile login, use the 'Forgot Username/Password' option. If you are still unable to log in,  you will need to contact BankMobile Customer Support directly at 1-877-327-9515

Keep your BankMobile account safe. Protect Your Personal Information!

We have seen a significant increase in spam and phishing emails targeting both students and staff. These messages often falsely claim to offer financial aid refunds or other rewards but are intended to steal your personal and financial information.

One common characteristic of these phishing attempts is that they frequently come from @gmail.com or other non-official domains using key words such as BankMobile, YCCD District, and CC Financial Aid as the sender. Please remember: all official communication from the YCCD district and Columbia College will come from a @yosemite.edu. We highly students to reach out to our IT department if you are concerned your information has been compromised. Please call them at (209) 588-5385.

BankMobile will never contact you to request sensitive information such as passwords, PINs, debit card numbers, or other personal details via email, text, or phone . For more information, visit the official BankMobile website.
