Columbia College is partnered with The Higher Education Legal Services Project that provides FREE immigration legal services to California Community Colleges students, faculty, and staff. Priority for services is given to students, staff, faculty, dual-enrolled students, noncredit course students, and adult education students. DACA fees for eligible students attending California Community Colleges are covered. Starting November 1, 2023 application fees for Advance Parole and Naturalization will also be covered by the program. Funds are limited.

Immigrant Legal Defense provides legal services in direct partnership with Columbia College and other educational institutions to ensure that students have easy access to free, trustworthy counsel that provides the security and stability students need to focus on their education and their futures. ILD's consultations help students and their family members, as well as staff and faculty, understand their and their families' immigration options, receive caring and competent legal support and remain informed of current immigration law and policy so that they can focus on their studies, careers, families and futures.
