The Columbia College Academic Senate serves as the representative voice of the College's faculty, advancing the best interests of higher education through recommendations to the College and District administration and the Board of Trustees on academic and professional matters. The Senate also plays an active role in the shared governance of the Yosemite Community College District and represents faculty on state-wide academic and professional matters.
