Lifeline is a federal program that helps lower the monthly cost of your phone or internet service. Program benefits include up to $9.25/month on phone, internet, or bundled service. You may qualify if you or a dependent participate in a government program such as: SNAP/CalFresh, Medicaid/Medi-cal, SSI, Veterans pension and survivors benefit, tribal TANF, and more. To qualify, household income must be at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines.

PCs for People is a national nonprofit organization that offers low-cost refurbished computers and internet for low-income people.
To apply for a computer, applicants must provide a form of identification and proof of current enrollment in government assistance of documentation of current household income that is under 200% of the federal poverty level. Learn more online.
