Education:
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): Psychology
Master of Arts (M.A.): Educational and Counseling Psychology
Education Specialist (Ed.S.): Educational Psychology
Services Provided:
Academic Counseling for Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) and Extended
Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS); General Counseling services provided during
summer terms. In working with a DSPS counselor, students participate in an intake
appointment that verifies their disability/disabilities and establishes eligibility
for DSPS. If the student is determined to be eligible, their DSPS counselor works
with them to develop an Academic Accommodation Plan (AAP) which ensures necessary
supports are in place across all educational settings. In addition, students work
with their DSPS counselor to develop an Education Plan which is individualized to
allow for work, school, and life balance in achieving their educational goals, such
as a certificate and/or Associate’s Degree.
My Interests:
With a deep passion for neurodiversity and trauma-informed practices, I am committed
to fostering safe, accessible, and supportive environments. My professional focus
includes supporting students navigating challenges related to neurodiversity and/or
trauma, developing comprehensive services on campus and in the broader community,
and facilitating trainings and workshops that promote awareness, understanding, and
best practices.
Here at Columbia College, I am committed to ensuring students, staff, and faculty have the necessary supports to promote student success across all learning environments. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their educational and career goals through individualized planning and meaningful engagement.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy adventure—whether camping, paddle boarding, backpacking, hiking, downhill skiing, or snowshoeing— I can typically be found somewhere along the coast or up in the mountains. I also have a love for live music and travel. I am honored to be a registered member of the Cherokee Nation.
