Biography
Honored to serve as the Counselor/Coordinator for EOPS and CARE at Columbia College.
Prior to joining Columbia College, I served as a Program Counselor for TRIO Student Support Services and the California Career Pathways Trust at Imperial Valley College. I also worked with Student Employment Services at the University of San Diego. Before transitioning into higher education counseling, I worked for the County of San Diego Human Services Department, supporting individuals and families through Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and CalWORKS programs. Additionally, I served as Program Manager for Sacramento County School Programs.
As a proud first-generation college graduate from Southern California, I understand the transformative power of education and the importance of student support services. I am an alumna of the University of California, Davis and Point Loma Nazarene University.
My passion is supporting students throughout their educational journey and helping them overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their academic, personal, and career goals. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing students reach milestones they once thought were beyond their reach.
