Medical Assistant Students

  • Become a multi-skilled allied health care professional specializing in procedures commonly performed in the ambulatory health care setting.
  • 187.5 hour course, +120 hours of externship.
  • Fully sponsored program at no cost to students. 
  • Information sessions 5/16/2025 and 6/4/2025 via Zoom.

  • Program applications are accepted between May 12th, 2025 to June 25th, 2025
  • Candidate Selection July 11, 2025
  • Classes run 9/8/2025 - 12/3/2025
  • 12/8/2025 and 12/10/2025 additional days if needed.
  • Mandatory Pinning Ceremony 12/05/2025 at Chicken Ranch Casino 5:00pm

2025 Phlebotomy Students

  • Gain a strong foundation in the principles of phlebotomy.
  • Prepare to pass the National Phlebotomy Certification Examination.
  • 84 hour course +40 hours of externship.
  • Fully sponsored program at no cost to students. Uniforms, books and supplies included.

  • Apply to Phebotomy Program Here. Program applications are accepted October 8th, 2025 - December 1, 2025 for the January 16th, 2026 start date. 
  • Classes run on Fridays only 1/16/2026- 4/10/2026. 
  • 4/17/2026 if additional day is needed.
  • New Summer Accelerator Program. M-TH July 15, 2026- August 1, 2026

Patient Access Representatives (PAR) facilitate the coordination of scheduled outpatient services and programs and are responsible for completing and verifying all registration information and collecting the patient's financial responsibility. They provide clerical support, enter status changes in the computer, and work on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines and precedents. 

Skills Attainment Certificate Requirments

  • Students can earn a Skills Attainment Certificate in one semester by completing the six (6) units required
  • Students must earn a C or better to earn the certificate
  • Students must completed HLTH 50 (Medical Terminology) and three (3) units of the following management courses:

    MGMT 112 Team Building (.5)

    MGMT 113 Attitude in the Workplace (.5)

    MGMT 114 Values and Ethics in the Workplace (.5)
