Due to inclement weather Columbia College has transitioned to remote operations for
the week of February 17-20, 2026. While most operations will be remote, the campus
will be open between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm each day. The campus will be closed from 4:00
pm – 10:00 am on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Campus will remain closed from 4:00
pm Friday, February 20 – 8:00 am Monday, February 23, 2026.
This year's Teaching & Learning Summit will feature renowned speaker and author, Erin
Gruwell, educator, author, and founder of the Freedom Writers Foundation. We are inviting
our campus community, local community members, students and educators, as well as
partner colleges from our local region to join us for learning from Erin (and each
other) about fostering an educational philosophy that values and promotes diversity,
with students at the center.
