The Common Course Numbering system makes transferring to universities like the University
of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) more straightforward. It ensures
that courses are consistent across colleges, helping students navigate their academic
path with confidence.
The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) is the new singular
general education pathway for California Community College (CCC) students to fulfill
lower-division general education requirements necessary for transfer and admission
to California public university systems.
Columbia College has a new general education pattern for associate’s degrees. It is
now named the Columbia College General Education Pattern.

counseling is available Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drop-Ins are available
