Students at Columbia College and Modesto Junior College (MJC) have the convenient option to attend classes in Oakdale, California. Courses meet at Oakdale High School.

Courses Offered

Columbia College wants to help you achieve your academic goals. For that reason, Oakdale course offerings will include those that satisfy General Education (GE) breadth requirements, as well as courses that prepare you for employment or certification in vocational areas such as culinary and child development. 

To find scheduled Oakdale courses: 

• Open the Columbia College online schedule
• Select the term you are interested in (spring, summer, fall)
• Under the filter criteria that appears, select "Off-campus", and look for "COHS"

After you apply ...

Once you submit your online admissions application, you will receive an email from CC Admissions to confirm your acceptance and give you your student identification / "w" number. Now it's time to register for classes. Begin by visiting connectColumbia, the online registration portal.

Are you an MJC student?

That's great! Completion of many Columbia College courses can apply toward an MJC degree or certificate, because certain courses have been determined to be "equivalent" to courses offered at the other college, and some of those courses are being offered in Oakdale. You may want to consult with a counselor to determine what is best for your educational plan.
