Academic Achievement Center (AAC)

The AAC staff has identified the following Student Learning Outcomes for the various services provided by the AAC.

• SLO #1: Students who use the learning support services offered through the AAC will be able to identify specific learning needs with regard to the classes for which they seek assistance.
• SLO #2: Students who use the learning support services offered through the AAC will demonstrate independent application of learning strategies.

The AAC staff has identified the following Student Area Outcomes for the various services provided by the AAC.

• SAO #1: Students who receive tutoring will have higher course success rates than their peers in the same courses who did not receive tutoring.
• SAO #2: Students who receive tutoring will have higher retention rates than their peers in the same courses who did not receive tutoring.
