Databases, Magazines and Journals

The Columbia College Library currently subscribes to more than 16,500 magazines and academic journals. The vast majority of these titles are available online to registered students and College employees from both on- and off-campus. To access the databases and ebooks from off-campus you will be prompted to authenticate using the college's single sign-on (SSO), which is the same way you login to Canvas. OneSearch and the Library's Articles & Databases page (both also available from our homepage) are the main ways to locate and access our electronic subscriptions. When you are on campus the links will take you directly to the databases. From off-campus you will be prompted to authenticate.

eBooks, Books, Movies and Music

Registered students and College employees can access the Library's eBooks via our Library catalog, OneSearch, from anywhere in the world. For eBook access from remote sites you must be a current student or college employee and authenticate when prompted. To place a hold on physical items, login students and college employees can login with their Single Sign-On credentials and community patrons can login using the barcode on their library card and the password they established (the default password is Columbia).
