Columbia College/Tuolumne County Fire Department Station 79 has three pieces of equipment assigned to the Station. Breathing Support 795 and Engine 796 are staffed by the Student Firefighters. Engine 791 is staffed with career TCFD/CAL FIRE employees.
Breathing Support 795-
BS 795 is a 2021 Dodge 5500 4X4 Cab and Chassis with Mid-West build up. It has a Bauer Mobile Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) fill station. It is also outfitted with Extrication and Stabilization Equipment, Over the Bank Rope Rescue gear, SCBA’s, and Firefighter Rehab supplies. BS795 responds to all Structure Fires in the Tuolumne County. It also responds to all calls in the Columbia area.
Engine 796 -
Engine 796 is a Type 6 2012 Ford F550 Cab and Chassis with a G. Paoletti Company build up. It has a Darley auxiliary pump. This apparatus is equipped for wildland, structure, and medical response.
Engine 791-
Engine 791 is a Type 1 2009 Pierce Contender. This engine is staffed with career TCFD/CAL FIRE personnel and is equipped to respond to all emergencies in the greater Columbia area and Tuolumne County as assigned.
