Columbia College's Academic Wellness Educators

The mission of the Academic Wellness Educators is to promote academic wellness in an ongoing climate of growth and improvement in the delivery of learning support services throughout the entire college community for all students at all levels of preparation.

AWE is a college wide effort to enhance student success. Faculty, staff, administrators, and students work together to develop innovative solutions to help student achieve their goals. As part of leading the Basic Skills Initiative at Columbia College, AWE initiates and supports inquiry and activity that address a broad array of issues connected to student access and success.

Because of AWE, Columbia College has been recognized as one of The Hewlett Leaders in Student Success for institutions of higher learning.
