Adaptive P.E. & Fitness Maintenance for the Physically Limited
This program provides direction for students with physical limitations to follow a
prescribed workout program on improving cardiovascular, flexibilty, and strength fitness
levels. Evaluations are done by a Phyiscal Therapist who is contracted by Columbia
College and paperwork will be faxed to your Physician for completion.

Limitation on Enrollment:
Enrollment in this course is contingent upon completion of a Disabled Student Programs
and Services assessment and determination of acceptance into the course. Students
will only need to complete the assessment once and will not need to do so in furture
semesters.
Students must be able to:
Demonstrate basic safety skills
Follow a workout program with minimal support from instructors or staff
Participate in all aspects of the course, up to level of ability
Show progress towards course outcomes and objectives
Demonstrate the ability to accept personal responsibility for their actions
