Planning Documents and College-Specific Processes
The mission, vision, and core values guide all planning, at all levels, for the college. Planning informs the college about its priorities, strategies, and resources and how to better serve students and the community. It requires ongoing institutional evaluation and improvement which is achieved through a systematic cycle of evaluation using the Cyclic Review Plan with oversight by the Institutional Effectiveness Council.
Long-range plans provide the framework for the college’s development into the future. These Integrated Master Plans (Educational Master Plan, Facilities Master Plan, and Technology Plan) provide the blueprint for maintaining and growing academic programs and student services. The Strategic Plan articulates the college’s goals and objectives while Program Review outlines short-term goals and objectives at the unit level. Other planning documents have also been adopted to prioritize efforts and to facilitate planning and decision-making at the college.
