Subjects and Study Skills for Summer 2010
Individual, half hour tutoring appointments can be made at the AAC appointment desk, in Manzanita 18-2 or by calling (209) 588-5088 during regular AAC hours. The AAC is located down the hall from Admissions, next to Financial Aid. All tutoring is free of charge to registered Columbia College students.
The AAC employs trained peer tutors who have excelled in the classes they tutor and have been recommended by Columbia College faculty. ACC tutors were once in your place and can help you learn strategies to succeed.
To cancel an appointment, please call 588-5088 or visit the AAC in Manzanita 18-2 within 2 hours of the appointment.
AAC No-Show Policy: Failure to cancel an appointment within 2 hours or arriving more than 10 minutes late means the student is considered a No-Show; two No-Shows in one semester results in the loss of AAC tutoring privileges for that semester. Please note: If you need to cancel an 8am appointment, and it is after regular hours, call 588-5088 and leave a message as soon as possible.
